Fish all day with us! This trip is at least 8 hours long and allows us to fish the sound, inlet, ocean, and shipwrecks. Best opportunity to catch a variety of fish.
All rods, reels, bait, tackle & licenses are included with your fishing charter
Life jackets are available upon request. If you need one, please ask your captain.
Children under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by an adult.
What fish are biting in the Outer Banks?
The Outer Banks has some of the best inshore fishing and nearshore fishing on the East coast. Outer Banks inshore fishing charters can be excellent from Spring right through the Fall. The inshore/nearshore fishing starts to heat up in the Spring as we target speckled trout, puppy drum and flounder in the sound and backwaters. Other inshore and nearshore species we target throughout the season are sheepshead, black drum, red drum, black sea bass, trigger fish, blue fish, Spanish mackerel, king mackerel, false albacore, ribbon fish and even amber jack and mahi mahi (dolphin fish) when the conditions are right. Did we mention Cobia fishing?

I own and operate the Chasin Tyde here on the Outer Banks. My Love for fishing started when I was old enough to hold a fishing rod. Growing up fishing lakes, ponds, rivers, and creeks with my Grandfather and Father. Once introduced to the ocean at a young age I was "hooked." I want to share my passion, knowledge, and love for fishing with as many people as I can. As a father of two boys, I am blessed to spend my time on the water passing my love, patience, and passion for fishing down to them as well as our guests on the Chasin Tyde.
The Boat
The Chasin Tyde is a 26 Foot Privateer Center Console powered by a 300HP Yamaha outboard. Equipped with Garmin electronics, two insulated fish boxes and a Fusion Marine stereo system. With a wide 10 Foot beam, there is plenty of room for fishing and casting . Also equipped with a Spacious upper station with power and controls for sight fishing.
